It offers a feeling of well-being and inner strength. Just as you take care of your body by eating well and exercising, you can do things to protect your mental health.​

Welcome! I'm Mel Fierstine, mental health clinician, educator, and MindFit CEO. As a Clinical Social Worker, community builder, athletic coach, and fitness enthusiast for over two decades, I'm passionate about providing mental wellness
services in the sport and fitness communities.
As athletes, our primary focus tends to be on physical performance. We often overlook the impact mindset and mental health have on our overall well-being. I'm here to change that.

My role is to help you to recognize and reinforce your unique strengths so you can develop a healthy mindset, a strong sense of self, and a community of support to enhance and protect your mental wellness just as you do your physical wellness.
Whether you are working to build your mental, social, or emotional physique, we can team up to reach your overall goals.

How It Works
Intake paperwork is required for services. The preferred method of intake paperwork completion is the athlete portal which can be signed and filled out online securely before the first appointment. If you are unable to complete the intake paperwork before the first appointment, we will review the forms with you and have you sign either in person or electronically if Telehealth.
During your initial meeting, we will ask you questions to assess your strengths, concerns, needs, and goals. Once we've established a baseline, we will partner with you on your individualized course of treatment.
